AutoSprout vs Premium?

It uses the same stainless steel trays that are in contact with the sprouts. Also, the water tank in both versions are plastic, and the AutoSprout has better quality food grade plastic!

The premium version is being redesigned for optimized production. Timeline not yet clear!

Warranty and service?
The product comes with a 3 year warranty. It is designed for DIY part replacement. So if anything is faulty, we will ship the parts and instructions to replace these at home.

How many trays do I need?
By default you get 2x trays and 1 mesh overlay. Many customer by up to 1 of each so they can grow any sprout – any time. You can add more below.

Yes, we only use best in class food safe materials!

The plastic we use (ABS PA-757KF) is certified food-safe. It has been tested by TÜV Rheinland under strict EU and German standards for food contact. The tests were done with water, oil, and acidic solutions at high temperatures (10 days at 40 °C) – conditions much harsher than how AutoSprout is used.

All results passed with a wide safety margin:

  • No BPA or phthalates

  • No harmful leaching of chemicals like acrylonitrile or butadiene

  • No polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) detected

  • Well below EU migration limits for metals and organics

Since AutoSprout only uses fresh cold water during sprouting (3–6 days), the safety margin is even higher.
