In this short vlog update, we quickly introduce ourselves and share a few pieces of info that you hopefully find useful :)
- How the AutoSprout is designed to avoid mold (the #1 key feature to this)
- How much will you be able to grow per tray?
Many of the sprouters on the market have poor drainage and root penetration, which are crucial to avoid mold. We have tried and tested most of these and explain briefly what and why we are picking for the AutoSprout™.
The second question regarding the amount to grow per tray can more easily be explained by just showing you a very similar surface area to what our trays will have. Hopefully this makes it all crystal clear :)
Quick development update since our last email:
- We have made minor tweaks to design (don't worry!), to get large enough water tanks, to get everything water tight
- We have sourced manufacturers for most of the components.
- Prototype #3 has been developed and is under testing (90% accurate design)
- We are finalising sprouting programs and the smart parts (PCB, electronics etc)
- Website is semi-live, support & FAQ under development
- Logistics and shipping fulfillment is being negotiated (express worldwide with FedEx & DHL)
- Tentative launch date: July 1st
- Delivery target is within December 2020.
